I. Information regarding the Grantee.
Albania Community Assist – ACA, since 1999, works on improvement and development of education, health, and social welfare situation, access on services and rights, and social economy, based on the needs and strategic priorities of the population in Albania, especially the groups in need, minorities, youth, elderly and women. ACA reaches its objective through ensuring and compilation of strategic documents, research and statistical documents, capacity building and expertise offering, implementation of campaigns and advocacy, lobbing initiatives in all levels, and ensuring the direct support for the communities. Main Programs of ACA are: Health, Education and Social Welfare; Social Development and Income Generation; Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Enabling Tourism and Heritage; Youth Empowerment and Cultural Approach; Direct Assistance.
The project “Establish capacities for setting up Social Entrepreneurship” is part the sub-granting schemes mechanism of the Inclusive EduJobs project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Open Society Foundation for Albania, in cooperation with the Social Action and Innovation Centre and the Municipality of Tirana”.
II. Information regarding the subgrant being implemented.
Title: “Establish capacities for setting up Social Entrepreneurship”
Duration 1 year, 18th May 2023 – 17th May 2024
Amount: 30.000 EUR
The action is focused on the creation, establishment and management of a social entrepreneurship developing a complex intervention that will target both Roma and Egyptian and the elderly people in need, addressing their needs and constrains.
The Project Specific Objective is: Develop a social entrepreneurship which will provide employment for Roma and Egyptians and services for elderly in need.
The main results of the action are:
- Increased capacities of the R/E, through 12 training session
- Increase opportunities of the R/E young to be employed on and provide formal services.
- At least, 8 persons from Roma and Egyptians community engaged and employed
- SE Strategy and Social mission prepared and disseminated.
- Market research and recommendations prepared and disseminated;
- Guidelines and standards for home care for the elderly.
- At least 16 elderly people receive appropriate, qualified services in Tirana;
- 5 round tables with experts and representatives of local and central institutions, with representatives of civil society organised and Advocacy plan executed.

Albania Community Assist – ACA, prej 1999, punon për përmirësimin dhe zhvillimin e situatës së edukimit, shëndetësisë dhe mirëqenies sociale, aksesit në shërbime e të drejta, dhe në ekonominë sociale, bazuar në nevojat dhe prioritetet strategjike të popullsisë në Shqipëri. veçanërisht grupet në nevojë, minoritetet, të rinjtë, të moshuarit dhe gratë. Projekti “Ngritja e kapaciteteve për ngritjen e Sipërmarrjes Sociale” është pjesë e mekanizmit të skemave të nëngranteve të projektit Inclusive EduJobs, financuar nga Bashkimi Evropian dhe zbatuar nga Fondacioni Shoqëria e Hapur për Shqipërinë, në bashkëpunim me Qendrën e Veprimit dhe Inovacionit Social dhe Bashkia e Tiranës”.

Veprimi është i fokusuar në krijimin, ngritjen dhe menaxhimin e një sipërmarrjeje sociale duke zhvilluar një ndërhyrje komplekse që do të synojë si romët dhe egjiptianët ashtu edhe të moshuarit në nevojë, duke adresuar nevojat dhe kufizimet e tyre.
Objektivi specifik i projektit është: Zhvillimi i një sipërmarrjeje sociale e cila do të ofrojë punësim për romët dhe egjiptianët dhe shërbime për të moshuarit në nevojë.
Rezultatet kryesore të veprimit janë:
- Rritja e kapaciteteve të R/E, nëpërmjet 12 sesioneve trajnuese
- Rritja e mundësive të R/E të rinjve për t’u punësuar dhe ofruar shërbime formale.
- Të angazhuar dhe punësuar të paktën 8 persona nga komuniteti rom dhe egjiptian
- Strategjia e sipermarrjes sociale dhe Misioni Social i përgatitur dhe shpërndarë.
- Hulumtimi i tregut dhe rekomandimet e përgatitura dhe të shpërndara;
- Udhëzime dhe standarde për kujdesin në shtëpi për të moshuarit.
- Të paktën 16 të moshuar marrin shërbime të përshtatshme dhe të kualifikuara në Tiranë;
- Të organizuara 5 tryeza me ekspertë dhe përfaqësues të institucioneve vendore dhe qendrore, me përfaqësues të shoqërisë civile dhe Plani i advokimit është zbatuar
